Offering Script

Leader:

Dear brothers and sisters, we come together this morning not only to worship, but to also give thanks to God for His many blessings.

Scripture Reading:

(Read a Scripture passage about giving, such as Matthew 6:19-21)

Reflection:

As we reflect on this passage, we are reminded that God is the ultimate owner of all things. Everything we have comes from Him, and it is a privilege to return a portion back to His kingdom.

Invitation to Giving:

Today, we have the opportunity to give a financial offering as an act of worship and thanksgiving. As we give, we acknowledge God's sovereignty and express our commitment to His work.

Prayer:

Lord, we come before You today with grateful hearts. Thank You for Your boundless love and provision. We give these offerings not only as a financial gesture but as an expression of our love and gratitude. May these gifts be used to further Your kingdom and glorify Your name.

(Invite the congregation to make their offerings)

Closing Prayer:

Father, we pray that You would receive these offerings with favor. May they be used to advance Your purposes and bless the lives of others. May we all be reminded of the importance of giving generously and joyfully, as it is in giving that we truly receive.
